Music Ministry
First Baptist offers opportunities for people to learn how to sing their faith while at the same time building and edifying the fellowship of believers. In the process of using music to glorify God and exalt Jesus Christ, we pray that our unified purpose will give testimony of our faith in Christ and draw others into the family of God.
The “Congregational Choir” is for all people of all ages and gives weekly opportunities for uniting our voices in praise to our sovereign God through faith in Jesus Christ. Realizing we can’t please everyone’s personal desires of musical style, we instead strive to please God and honor Him by using songs that are accessible to everyone who has assembled for the purpose of expressing our worship to Him.
The Sanctuary Choir is for all adults and sings each week in our Sunday morning worship service. The Sanctuary Choir also presents two special programs during the year. This choir meets every Wednesday at 7:30 for rehearsal.
The Children’s Choir is for all children in grades 1-5 and sings quarterly during the Sunday morning worship service. The Children’s Choir also presents a special program each spring and during the Christmas season. This choir meets every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
The Cheerful Cherubs is for all children ages 3 through 4K. The Cherubs share their songs occasionally during services of the church, and they meet every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
The Worship Choir is for youth and adults. The Worship Choir sing in Sunday morning worship services and they meet for practice every Wednesday at 7:30p.m. Contact John Morgan with any questions.
